Have something to sell on Amazon? You can track conversion rates from your Tweets. Here’s how:

Step 1: Sign up for Amazon Affiliate program.

Now when you hit an Amazon page logged in, you’ll see a toolbar to create special links to products.

Step 2: Create an Amazon affiliate link to your book

If people follow those links to Amazon and make a purchase, you get a small fee (4-6%).

Even if they don’t purchase, you get clickthrough data to understand drop offs.

Here’s an example:

In this example account, someone came in and bought 5 items on a single clickthrough. Awesome!

Step 3: Go to http://bit.ly and create link to your Amazon link

For example: http://bit.ly/TheTwitterBook. Now you can track conversions!

Enjoy responsibly
